Q1:  How long will Ideal Wood Solutions sealers last?

A1: Typically 6 to 12 months of use before another application is required. However, the longevity of Ideal Wood Solutions sealers’ effectiveness is relative to the amount of direct sun and water exposure as well as length of time. Wood with a higher exposure to direct sunlight and rain will require reapplication sooner.

A2:   Lightly clean wood annually with a mild household detergent and water solution to remove all surface dirt and debris. It is not necessary to remove old sealer. Reapplication of sealer can be accomplished by simply applying a lighter coat as initally applied.

A3:   Proper surface preparation is essential to assure maximum performance. Ideal Wood Solutions sealer must penetrate into the wood to be effective. Wood must be clean and dry prior to applying. Q5:   How many coats of Ideal Wood Solutions sealer will initially be needed?
